Tis the season for awkward holiday parties...you know, the ones you have at the office with the people you usually don't have to talk to for more then a "hey, how are you?" I had this situation on Friday afternoon. I was talking to people I actually don't mind talking to, but then my coworkers started making fun of this one girl who was there and wearing a quite awkward outfit...a 3/4 length sleeve black shirt under a printed strapless dress with a chunky black necklace...looked more awkward than it sounds. For the purpose of this blog I'll call her "GIC" (Girl in Crisis). Well right after their bashing (I'm tellin ya, girls are brutal) GIC walked towards where we are and decided to strike up a conversation with me. I tried my hardest to maintain professionalism and actually listen to her but mannn the heinous necklace/dress under shirt combo was getting to me. I don't think GIC could tell though since she said her department is expanding and I should work there....but man, I can only imagine how much better my blog would be if I saw what this chick wears on a daily basis...
