Holiday craziness

Well a bunch of my galfriends came down last night and lifted my spirits during what has become our Annual Holidays/Birthdays bash. I planned it out and was quite proud of myself for this year's theme/activity (Project Runway). First, we all exchanged our infamous gag gifts ($5 limit and if you get something wearable, you have to wear it out in public). I wound up wearing a long blonde wig, leopard print gloves, earrings and a big leopard print belt. For the activity, we were all going to go to Good Will (wanted to incorporate giving back into our activity because I'm just that good) but they closed early so we hit up Walmart...I looked all kinds of awesome walking in there with my wig. We definitely got some attention and a lot of people asking us what the occasion was. We were all in teams of two, had a $10 limit and 15 minutes to pick out attire to work with. Of course my team picked out more leopard print, hideous underwear, and snazzy sparkly tights. Then we all came back and I threw in the Project Runway twist that everyone had to incorporate a bunch of really weird materials (ie: candy, yarn, a red bow, etc) into their outfit then one person would model and the other would announce. I wound up modeling a leopard print top with my gloves and the sparkly tights with the underwear over them. Yowza. Luckily for me I can rewear allll the leopard stuff for Honfest so I'm totally pumped for that. Here is a cropped picture of part of my ensemble...



Anywhoo I loved that we all had a great time, there was 8 of us total. I'm so lucky to have friends that are crazy like me and can let loose and enjoy each other's company <3.
