Well today is my birthday, and I'm very bitter that I have to work (normally I would take off but since I work two part-time jobs, no paid time off...bah!). I did get a nice surprise visit last night then I've gotten a few calls/texts since then which is cool. Of course people are hitting up Facebook too, as always. My fam and I were going to go to dinner but since my Great Uncle passed away we actually have his viewing tonight, then we're just going to have cake afterward. Kinda sucks to have a viewing to go to on my bday...but such is life.
Since I'm now 25, I find that this is a good time to reflect back on the first quarter of my life. I've realized that in the past 24 years I have dislocated a knee, broken two bones, had three very near-death experiences, had my most embarrasing moment published in a magazine, graduated college/started grad school, worked literally about 20 jobs (I'm not exaggerating), loved, lost, and won. It's been a very interesting 24 years so far. I plan on making the next 24 all that much better.
