Well this morning I woke up and realized that I hadn't blown off a day of work in a longggg time so I decided to give myself the day off to sleep in. I'm really glad I did because my boss wound up calling me from her house- she caught the GI bug and so did another coworker in my office. I just kinda acted like I had it too to sound legit for missing work (hopefully I didnt jinx myself!) but it made me uber glad I didn't enter what seems to be the manifestation of germs (aka my office). I'm hoping it will be over by the time I go back Friday...I really don't want to catch it!
Today I actually was a little productive...bought some birthday cards for 4 people (damn all of you having a birthday within 3 weeks of each other) at Hallmark but while I was there there was an older gentleman who was sitting down and saying he was nauseous...the Hallmark peeps actually called Paramedics for him. I really hope he's okay, but my selfish thought of the day was "arg, I cant escape germs!" (worrying if he had something contagious). Then I got stamps so I can actually send out my holiday cards (hopefully will do that tomorrow, we shall see) and veggies so I can make veggies and dip for the office potluck tomorrow. Shall be tre fun, for sure.
Now I should go since I have my first final in 3 minutes...wish me luck! My other final is online, the prof hasnt posted it yet but really should considering it is finals week...then I have a presentation and my last class tomorrow night. Can't believe I'm already almost 1/4 done Grad School!
